JUST ANNOUNCED! Blackie and the Rodeo Kings play a CBC Tribute to The Band:
On the American Thanksgiving Holiday in 1976, The Band said goodbye to their fans by staging an all star jam that featured artists such as; Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Bob Dylan and Ronnie Hawkins.
On the 30th anniversary of this event, Thursday November 23rd, CBC Radio gathers together an all-star band that will pay tribute to the music of The Band and the artists that shared the stage with them back in 1976. Anchoring the event will be Blackie and The Rodeo Kings, led by three extraordinary guitarists and singer/songwriters: Colin Linden, Stephen Fearing and Tom Wilson, with a cast of cast of headliners including; Kathleen Edwards, Jason Collett, Oh Susanna, Tony Dekker, Dione Taylor and Luke Doucet.

Dog Years the new record from Tom Wilson is available in stores today! The new record was produced by Blackie and the Rodeo Kings bandmate Colin Linden and was recorded partly in Canada and partly in Linden’s studio in Nashville, TN.

Dog Years has a slew of legendary musicians lending their talent. Among them are Funk Brother Bob Babbitt, Gary Tallent of The E Street Band, bassist Dave Roe (Johnny Cash), and Rosanne Cash while Colin Linden adds characteristically fluent guitar.
